Join the Team

Join the Kavana Labs Team

Help us build the people, systems, programs, and infrastructure that will shape Africa's next generation of engineers, researchers, builders, and technology leaders.

Kavana Labs is starting with KES 001, but the vision is much larger. We are building a long-term ecosystem for engineering education, research, product development, mentorship, and innovation across Africa. We are looking for committed contributors who can help us run programs, support learners, build systems, create content, form partnerships, and document measurable impact.

HOW TEAM ROLES ARE STRUCTURED

Three ways to contribute

Joining the team is not random volunteering. It is contributing to a long-term institution building Africa's engineering, research, product, and innovation capacity — beginning with KES 001. Opportunities are grouped into three categories, each with a clear focus.

Kavana Labs Core Team

Roles that support the long-term growth of Kavana Labs as an institution — operations, communications, partnerships, technology, design, research, governance, and impact.

KES Delivery Team

Roles that support the direct execution of KES 001 and future cohorts — learner support, tutoring, cohort coordination, mentorship coordination, session support, technical support, documentation, and feedback.

Mentors and Coaches

Roles for experienced professionals, researchers, engineers, founders, educators, or advanced students who want to guide learners through technical growth, career direction, project work, and long-term development.
