Overview
KES technical-support volunteers keep cohorts moving by helping participants resolve setup and environment problems quickly and kindly, during live delivery windows.
Responsibilities
- Assist participants with Python, GitHub, terminal, and environment setup.
- Triage and resolve common blockers during sessions.
- Escalate recurring issues to facilitators.
Required Skills
- Comfort with Python tooling, Git, and the command line.
- Patience and clear, supportive communication.
- Availability during the cohort delivery window.
Helpful Skills
- Prior facilitation or teaching-assistant experience.
What You Will Learn
- Stronger teaching and debugging-communication skills.
- A recognised contribution to a live KES cohort.
Expected Deliverables
- Responsive support across the cohort's delivery window.
