KES Technical-Support Volunteer

Help KES participants get unblocked — setup, Python, GitHub, terminal, and environment issues.

Overview

KES technical-support volunteers keep cohorts moving by helping participants resolve setup and environment problems quickly and kindly, during live delivery windows.

Responsibilities

Assist participants with Python, GitHub, terminal, and environment setup.
Triage and resolve common blockers during sessions.
Escalate recurring issues to facilitators.

Required Skills

Comfort with Python tooling, Git, and the command line.
Patience and clear, supportive communication.
Availability during the cohort delivery window.

Helpful Skills

Prior facilitation or teaching-assistant experience.

What You Will Learn

Stronger teaching and debugging-communication skills.
A recognised contribution to a live KES cohort.

Expected Deliverables

Responsive support across the cohort's delivery window.
