Mentors provide perspective, encouragement, and technical or professional guidance to KES participants and emerging engineers, on a flexible, low-but-consistent commitment.

Responsibilities

Meet with mentees to discuss progress and challenges.
Review projects and provide structured, kind feedback.
Share practical guidance from your own engineering experience.

Required Skills

Real-world experience in an engineering or technical field.
Empathy and a genuine interest in developing others.
Consistent availability across a cohort.

Helpful Skills

Prior mentoring, teaching, or coaching experience.
